How very odd. I saw the movie as a kid and I honestly don’t remember this scene at all. And no I don’t have traumatic memories from the scene and my mind just blocked it out. Death scene never affected me as a little kid as I didn’t even know or understand what death was until I was ten. I saw Bambi when I was four and didn’t even cry when he mom was killed as I didn’t know she was dead until I was eight.
