Engaging film about Dr. Martin Luther King and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's campaign to end discriminatory voter registration issues in 1964 Alabama. Tough times to recall, even though at the time I was just a kid. Though worth seeing the struggle Black Americans went through before the federal government began to back their ordeal.

My only complaints were two British actors who weren't up to the task IMO. Neither Tom Wilkinson or Tim Roth seemed convincing as Texan LBJ and Alabama's Gov. George Wallace.

Brits can be amazing actors, but even the best can fall on their face portraying Southerners. James Mason and Richard Burton can tell y'all as much!
