I had posted about losing a job over a meltdown a while ago. I had gotten a couple of emails and a phone call last week. We agreed to a compromise and settled on a shift change. Last night I worked my very first second shift. I was amazed at how different the environment is. The second shift crew is literally half the amount of people. Very different atmosphere. Other than the change in sleep schedule, I believe this is going to be a very positive change.
On a side note, my first assignment back in was a complete machine wire harness damaged due to corrosive fluid intrusion which required complete replacement. Hundreds of circuits tying several sub-systems together. Welcome back............I think.

Such a good news! Glad it works out well with you. It's amazing how the environment differs so much, with such a smaller (?) change. And whoa, your job scope sounds interesting & seems fit with autistic/aspie brain.

l didn't have a meltdown, but last nite a guy remarked that l wasn't looking at his eyes, l am thinking who cares, l sold you what you wanted, you are a jerk with your attitude towards me, because l wouldn't answer your personal question about me. All l am required to do is answer questions re: our products, my personal life and feelings is off limits to you. I started to get upset with his snarky attitude but then l realised he wasn't worth that emotion either. l have been there a year already, screw him, lol.
