Hi, I'm Chris, diagnosed with ASD in April of this year. Was a huge moment for me, I remember watching a documentary two years before on adults diagnosed with ASD and I knew, unequivocally I had ASD, it was a watershed moment and I realised my life wouldn't be the same again but in a way that was about to improve dramatically.

In this moment I had answers, reasons as to why I just felt like I'd never quite been the same as everyone. It was like everyone I was ever around was 'in' on some joke or life, or had this maturity about them but I just didn't get.

Anyway I won't ramble on, I just hope I've found a place I can contribute to and take strength from in others.

Hi and welcome. I was glad to find out about autism too, it really answered some lifelong questions about myself for me. It's good that you are here, I hope you will join in threads and start some of your own if you want to.

Welcome. I also reasized I am on the spectrum late in life. It was a huge relief for me and help me lat go of some past trauma. Glad you are here.

I was in mid 50's. It sure answered a lot of questions for me.
Much better understanding of self now.
