The problem is with people assuming they know about autism because they watched a TV show.And then this new, articulate, creative woman will become the face of autism and you can't be autistic if you're not articulate or creative.
Or maybe autism won't be viewed as real if it gets far enough away because then everyone would be able to relate.
The problem is with people's assumptions, not with the characters like Saga or Rainman - or with future characters.
