Since this past Halloween season into the following weekend of Dia de los Muertos and now coming upon the Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. season. I feel like this needs to be made clear. I preface this by saying (once again) that if folks read the entire book (whichever one it is) that they claim to live by and fully represent....they'd know this. I'm betting many don't, though. Here we go:
Psalms, Proverbs, rosary beads, crucifixes, frankincense, mint, anise, lamb-goat-sheep-ram-bull's blood, holy water, holy grail, spear of Longinus, ark of the covenant, birds and pigs used as vessels to cast demons into, altars, showbread, baptism, prayers, orans posture, hymns, sacraments, discernments, washing feet, incense, candle lighting, wreaths, olive branches, oils, blood anointing, consecrations, burnt offerings, tithes, birds-string-hyssop, blood-letting, circumcision, fasting, ashes, eucharist, confirmation, marriage....etc. etc. etc.
Those things (and/or acts taken) are simply what I can think of from memory, as to the many rituals in just the bible alone. The quran isn't that different, nor is the torah. The tao te ching and vedas and some of the zoroastian texts get more involved with "physical stuff" if you know what I mean. Point being, though - the major religions of the world contain countless rituals and ritualistic items and at the very least, they all compare equally with anything that I have ever read that's considered pagan, old world, alchemy or such.
