Riddles

I presume it's not a different kind of eye as then I would need more accuracy not precision? Or am I using different definitions?

New riddle:

For a certain question I encountered recently I had to subtract 5 from 2. The answer I come up with is 9. How can this be?

I can make you sick or even deathly ill
Yet exceed 3 without me and you'll surely die.
What am I ?

Just the way you phrased it. If I were to try to make a riddle for "water" I probably would have come up with pretty much what you did.

If you ever want a good laugh check out the archived site for the "Ban Dihydrogen monoxide" parody campaign. Makes it sound like water is truly evil. It's hilarious when you know it's water and someone that doesn't reads it for the first time. The reaction they have, priceless. Especially when you eventually let them know it's water. It's meant to be an education piece on not leaping to conclusions about chemicals when all you have is some of the information on it. Coalition to Ban Dihydrogen Monoxide Homepage

I'll let you or someone else come up with the next riddle.

I remember telling a boss at work that the reason I had put a can of vegetables in claims was because it was covered in iron oxide. If I had called it ferric oxide I wonder how puzzled he would have been.😂

Hilarious!🤣 Especially the part about rivers. Like what do you think the river is?

They call me a bee, but I don't sting.
If you are a bee, I'm a dangerous thing.
What am I ?

Well, if the other bee disturbed them then it would certainly fit, but is not what I had in mind.
