Everyone's devil is their own, to argue with, to try and placate, to be in denial of, and ultimately, to shuffle off that mortal coil into their embrace, for who of us can claim to be truly innocent?
Maybe those that do claim it, are the guiltiest of all?

I can definitely pinpoint some people here with my finger, who behave like that, but i think we digress. Will just shut up now and wait for the new riddle to come :)
 
This riddle may last to eternity,
so keep guessing one by one
I fell out of an apple tree
but oh was it a lot of fun.
After arriving late though, you see
I am now boundless energy.

What am I?
 
I see line three,
And think "gravity".
And that one could last,
For eternity.
But it doesn't consist,
Of vast energy.
Maybe it something to do with spacetime?
But that one's getting harder to rhyme!

OK, so "eternity's" on the first line,
And that would be a very long time!
"one by one" suggests progression.
Could that relate to times procession?
"Late" again seems time related,
But to get this wrong, it seems I'm fated.
"Unlimited energy" that one's tough.
I don't think I have answers enough.
This one's turned out to be a stinker,
Or maybe I'm just not much of a thinker.

All those words you quoted were good to help solve. But there is more than one way to solve, the easy way, the moderately difficult way, and the near impossible way. Anyone who guesses the near impossible way deserves many gold stars.
