There are about seven to eight groups of words in the riddle that may seem illogical at first, but they make sense.. What word am I looking for, for the riddle answer then. It is a figure of speech that starts with an o. And can the person who answer correctly name them all? One of the eight may be a compound word. The other seven, two words each.Might need another clue

Great job. For #7, you did not need the word very. The 8th one would be "acted naturally." Do you know the term that I was looking for? Starts with an o.

When a teacher of mine - we'll call him "Mr. Santana" - taught the class about oxymorons, the first example that he used was "skinny Santana".
I think I misread this, and maybe still. Regardless, it seems a bit hard to answer right now. See if others have better guesses. The only answer I can think of now is breathing, heart rate and body temperature decreases before sleep and death..
