I can be determined or wavering.
Your's or mine can whirl without either of us moving.
What am I ?
 
In summer I walk on the land and swim in the water. I swim to my home as well.
In winter I travel underground to access my home and still do I swim in the ice capped pond.
What am I ?

My wife gave me an unexpected gift one day,
Wrapped neatly in a box in May.
She pointed to that package and said,

as at least two more guesses from others I will need for all to belong.

I will try to wait til at least one more reply,

to give a clue or to say who may have been close, wrong or right,

as there are several ways to interpret and solve this:

to look on the surface or deeper,

to be logical or creative, to name a few.

So, find a other way to solve if you can,

then another answer may come true too.
