Riddles

I seperate wheat from chaff,
I straighen a wire with a laugh.
I fill full of holes,
I puzzle poor souls,
Like an incomplete chirograph.

Edit:
That last line, don't put too much in to it. I did this last night, today I couldn't even remember what the answer was!
Worked it out, but now that last line is stumping me! Would ya Adam n' Eve it, eh? It doesn't seem to make sense, I think I may have found a rather obscure meaning for it, but can't rediscover it now, sorry!

Edit₂:

I separate wheat from chaff,
I straighten a wire with a laugh.
I fill full of holes,
I puzzle poor souls,
But the last line I've made a gaff!

Yourself ?

Perhaps you have winnowed wheat before
Laugh every time you straighten a wire
Carry a shovel with you so you can fill any holes that you find
And like puzzling poor souls like ours.🤔

That really ought to be a winner! Especially after I've made a pigs ear of my widdle!
(but it ain't! 🙂)

Those four lines are each a clue in themselves,
And they say pride precedes a fall.
So make sure you include each one of them,
The answer must fit them all.

Was my answer close?
Weeeaall, I suppose it could be, but that would be too context sensitive a definition, and trying to give a measure of accuracy would be more likely to create dead-end rabbit holes - confuse and/or side-track.
So I'm saying no, it's not close, but not in the sense of saying tangible is not close to intangible - not nearly as definitively opposite.

I think I'm already risking confusing some people, I'll just say no, but stress that it's unlikely to be proactively helpful feedback to dwell on (I'm being literal here).

Well done! 😊
I noticed no rule against repetition!
(besides, my internal database is corrupted so I'm down to the last few Megs of memory!).
