Question about changing my username

Is it possible I can change my username to something different? I want to be a bit anonymous and my username has my legal name on it.

You can do this in your profile settings.

What are you going to change your username to?

I wish I had picked a better username, regretted mine by the time I got verified.

I'm Lady Illuminati on some other sites. That's a fun name around schizophrenics and conspiracy theorists.

I'm only running on memory here, but I believe you have to wait 3 months before you're allowed to change your name. There should be a list of rules around the place somewhere.

I don't have a date there so I must be allowed to now if I want.

I found a full thread of forum rules:

I get it about the conspiracy theorists, but what it is about folk with schizophrenia ?
Because they're paranoid about that kind of thing too. Worried some secret society or government is putting thoughts in their heads.
It's just a word that means enlightenment though and it's tied to Plato, philosophy and ancient Greece.
