Putting your foot in it ( saying inappropriate things).

It seems that when I have a sense of peace with others, that my guard falls down and I end up saying something that offends or just plain: that should not be said.

How was I to know? This lady said that she needed to go home fast, because of needing the toilet. My husband, however was still chatting with her husband and others were around, so I just said: best let them go, because she needs the toilet and immediately knew I had said something I should not have said.

So, apparently, for females it is not the done thing to say that one needs the toilet, despite her walking with a limp to denote a desperation!

My husband says that you just do not call out that someone needs the toilet; it is just not the done thing and YET, I was paying attention that she needed to return home straight away and get the evil eye for mentioning the toilet!!!!!!

I want to just push it out and get on with "living", but it is torturing me that I once again, said something that offends and yet, they have forgotten it already or just thought: typical of Suzanne to put her foot in it!

It is best that I keep my guard up eh?
