Public Announcement about what autism is and is not

Public Announcement.

Autism does not equal LGBTQ, or other identities, or any other such garbage.

Autism is a singular diagnosis, and nothing else.

It is possible for people to have other conditions or identities as well, aside from just autism, but those are not directly related. Even in the Autistic world, the vast majority of people are normal ("cis" and straight).

I am not saying there is anything inherently wrong if someone is LGBTQ but, from what I have seen there has been a concerted effort from further left folk, social justice warriors, and woke people to meld all "marginalized groups" together into one, which ends up in us autistic people being made to look like a laughing stock as well as as just generally misrepresenting us.

Sincerely, a normal autistic person.
