"On September 8, 2011, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn recommended the closure of seven facilities across the state due to budget cuts, including the Jack Mabley Developmental Center in Dixon, IL. The Mabley Center serves as a safety net for developmentally disabled people with significant behavioral, medical, and personal care needs that cannot currently be met by community providers. Please sign this petition urging the state legislature to take the steps necessary to keep the Mabley Center open "
