People are like onions...I'm no onion

Pretty much every time someone uses an analogy on this forum, chaos ensues.

Reading the DSM - we're not supposed to understand any of this stuff.

So we may as well have fun with it.

many a chop between sloth and the broth as only I say. Endlessly.

Risky answer:

(It's risky because people are so confused by it...

Similar to the onion :)

I'm not sure it is really...

Some are like Russian dolls: big on the outside, but once you start taking them apart tiny on the inside.

I think @WildCat was being a little bit cheeky and suggesting that some people who have big personalities don't have much going on behind them, rather than suggesting that they have many layers to them ;)

I could be wrong of course, I don't know @WildCat (or anyone here) very well yet, but that was what I understood the comment to mean ;)

so recently I've tried not comparing the thought process of myself to an onion or Russian doll but to analogy or differing languages to my best friend.
I know he didn't Quite get it But, it did allow for more in jokes involving Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra
