Partner of High Functioning Aspie

Hello,

My name is Alexandra, but Alex is easier, and I am the significant other of a high functioning 'Aspie' per say. (Sorry, still getting use to using the term) We've been together roughly about a year and a half and have started to discuss future plans, our life somewhat and my partner decided to reveal to me that he has a touch of Aspergers. We're still figuring it all out and for me it is a first, so looking for advice and anything I can to help us! There's quiet a troubling past on his side, so it is a process of getting all the info from him, so I am hoping to get a better understanding and any advice as those come up. Already seems to be a great community and look forward to contributing any way that I can!
