Parasites?

Looking recently at effects of lyme disease on speech impediments, I've found this interesting factor from Candida (classified as parasite) to others.

Heard of this snail that looks psycehedelic, throbbing light. Cat feces can effect humans turn humans into risk takers.

There's also some mind controlling fungii called Cordyceps. Infected insects will crawl to where the fungus is likely to find lots of new hosts when it flowers and that's where they die.

Imagine such a thing affecting humans, and sufferers crawling in to places like the airconditioning ducts in an airport.

Ophiocordyceps unilateralis - Wikipedia

And there's today's famous Pork worm.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed in a 2012 deposition that a parasitic worm had entered his brain and "ate a portion of it". The worm was identified as a pork tapeworm larva, specifically Taenia solium, which can cause neurocysticercosis, a brain infection. While the worm is no longer present, it caused lesions and cysts, leading to cognitive issues and memory loss.

And the one that kills quickly, found in warm fresh water: An amoeba called Naegleria fowleri.
Everyone should beware of this one.
How it causes infection
  • Infection occurs when water containing Naegleria fowleri enters the body through the nose.
  • The amoeba then travels up the nose to the brain, where it causes a severe infection called Primary Amebic Meningoencephalitis (PAM).
  • PAM destroys brain tissue and causes the brain to swell, leading to a nearly always fatal outcome.
  • You cannot get infected by swallowing water containing the amoeba, and it cannot be spread from person to person.
There are a lot of parasites out there. Knowledge and awareness are key for safety.

When I go to my property near Coe hill, no issue just in spring and fall, just a bit of mosquitos spray good to go.
Blackflies are worse than deer flies, take pieces of meat do not like enclosed spaces. bit if itching does not bother me.
lasts for couple of days. No need for antibiotics or life long effects.

Those blackflies are horrible. I'd wear a beekeeper's face mask during their swarming season.

The thing about the cat parasite sounds like a "take that cat lovers!"
Apparently, my lifelong love of cats isn't because they're soft, beautiful, intelligent, agile, purring machines, but because a parasite they carry has brainwashed me into thinking of cats this way. Okay, whatever the cat haters want us to believe.
