Paddle boarding season ending, what next?

My paddle boarding season is coming to an end. I plan to keep going until the water surfaces are frozen, but that is six weeks away tops. Any ideas for me for things to do in the winter? I have a heart condition so seriously intense aerobics are off the menu.

I've never lived in such a climate, but this looks fun:

Paddle boarding always looks fun on Lake Tahoe...but not for much longer...fall coming.

There are usually long gaps between fall activities and those that require reliable ice and snow. Walking can be done at many intensities, especially if terrain is available. I like practical exercise, so I also do yard work, sometimes as a volunteer.
