Oppinions needed: Faulty asessment meeting?

Most of it no big things (they just went against formalia or "normal" and when I tried to work the "natural way") I hit the wall harder each time, ending up in sick leave.
What kind of things?

It's a reality for probably most of us that we have to work out our accommodations on our own and then find a way to get them - with a professional diagnosis or not. It seems to me personally, that you have to push for a diagnosis and find professionals that will confirm if you really need it. Or find another way to get them.

Yes, I feel the same. Figuring them out has been ok, but finding ways to get the accomendation and finding ways to ballance so both parties are fine and relaxed sure seem to be a problem.

Some examples for me would be the difference of being able to have autonomy in my work. Being able to be flexible with hours, late starts etc. Another could be sensory, being allowed to use soundcanceling headphones, working with less flow of clients in a day (for example focus on products or development, displayes, unpacking, cleaning, handeling systems, making graphics but cut off the need for prolonged exposure to the costumers or social aspects. I am great at what I do, but the schedual, lack of autonomy and social demands kills both my energy and free time.

In the past I have been asking for these things (At least I feel I have been clear) but bosses have mostly seen it as wanting "special treatment" even though I have explained the result and gain from being accomendated in these areas and the results of having to work against it. I speak from experience and have tried many different jobs in the past. I had someone say " Well if you DID have this need and you have been in contact with doctors, I'm sure they would have written you a note." And I just feel that people have too high beliefs around this idea that "If you need support you will get it."

It looks like you will have to look for another way to get a doctor's confirmation then.
