So, I've been playing using Open Morrowind since I sure as heck not playing vanilla Morrowind. What are the best mods for it? I already have 26 installed from one of the Open MW mod lists (I Heart Vanilla Director's Cut). The only mods I don't have are the last two because they have a more complex installation process that I don't want to bother with until I find another mod that depends on those two (as in an absolute requirement).
 
I've never tried but I recently discovered Skyrim and I've been playing that a lot. I imagine some things are very similar throughout the series. I found issues with mods that add more NPCs, they interfere with NPC scripts for some quests and you end up with quests that you can't start or can't complete.

I avoided NPC adding mods for skyrim with the exception of modded quests and followers. I fear for the safety of my cpu if I ever download those mods that pack the cities full of random npcs. How Skyrim's navmesh was built was never intended to handle that many NPCs.
