old movies worth to be watched?

The Hudsucker Proxy

It's 1979, but Stalker is a well-known must watch. Slow paced, spiritualism themed. Spicy little side dish of self-aware, yet hopeful misanthropy which is something that feels very russian to me.

Videdrome
To Live And Die In LA
Extreme Prejudice
Bestseller
Cop
Near Dark
Drugstore Cowboy
Another Day In Paradise
Hellraiser
Lord Of Illusions
Prince Of Darkness
Johnny Handsome
I like all of the above titles, most are crime dramas, the other 5 are horror for if you like horror a bit more intense than Scream.

"What About Bob"
"The Santa Clause"
Again, "Princess Bride"
"Annie"
"Undercover Blues"
"Meet the Parents"
"Conspiracy Theory"
"The Silence of the Lambs"
"The Color Purple"
"Nell"
"Rain Man"
"Stranger Than Fiction"
"Men in Black"
"Father of the Bride"
"Gone in 60 Seconds"

Contact
Benny and Joon
Somewhere in Time
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
All Star Trek movies:
The motion picture 1979
Star Trek II - VI
and Genrations

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a cinematic masterpiece that perfects live action with animation interactions. Not even movies with CGI has made the combination seem so natural. Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers comes close but it feels like something is still missing.

How is Star Wars not already mentioned!!!
Or is it inferred threw the force?;)
LoL.
Star Wars Trilogy.
Dune.
Terminator.
Terminator 2.
Invasion USA.
Homeward Bound.
Smokey and The Bandit.
Dustin Checks In.
James Bond movies.
The Matrix.
Animated Batman movies 90s.

"Old" movies as of 1980? Really ????? :p

I can think of some amazing films... but some of them go a tad further back in time. Indulge me. ;)
