Officially diagnosed

After only six months wait, thought it would me much longer, I was officially diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome this morning. On the ADOS I got scores way above the minimum cut off, and coupled with my history, oral assessments and other test scores I know it was inevitable but I am not sure how I feel right now, in a way I am relieved but also sad for some reasons, I feel I wasted a lot of my life and suffered a lot, needlessly and also this is something that can't be fixed. Sigh. Thanks to everyone here for all the support and encouragement since I joined.

I found the ADOS to be a most strange experience. Looking at pictures and telling the story was really bizarre.
Something to do with frogs floating on lily pads !

Also making up a story from a collection of random items was rather weird.
