Thanks May. It has been painful all day long. I guess it was a reality check that we are really over and that I must move on. It also makes me think that he has already moved on and found someone else. I feel stupid for thinking that maybe he was missing me too.

You're not stupid for thinking he was missing you. Even though it was his choice, he probably has been missing you. I know someone who let a relationship end, but still misses that other person.
