NT husband needing help understanding Aspie wife

I agree to participate in 'emotional conversations' no more than once a week, but I try to actually engage and not look bored.

Have you suggested him going to a therapist for emotional needs? I suffer from Trauma so I struggle with being emotional but I go to my therapist for emotional support. It might also help less'n the emotional load on you.

Actually I did, I suggested he attended therapy and even looked up a local session for him. I also suggested theater groups that I think he should join. He countered by suggesting I get myself sectioned and check in to a mental institution. We left it there. :)
