Not quite sure what to say

I'm not quite sure how to introduce myself as it pertains to this forum. Perhaps starting with introductions in an unrehearsed setting where the social rules and parameters are unknown is a fairly ironic concept for an aspie forum. Either way I'm happy I found this site and hope now that I posted here the sizable banner instructing me to do so will go away.

Hello CarolineM,
I am pleased that you have chosen to join us. We are all searching and stumbling here, so do not feel left out. This is a good place to be and I am confident that you will agree.

Went through the same thing myself last Friday. The irony was not lost on me either. Also, the banner does not immediately go away. I still have mine, FYI.
