i have autism from a traumatic birth so i also comeswith a side helping of nerd damage. because of this any temperature below 15c feels the same.i dont feel the cold but i feel the side effects. so i will just be walking outside completely normal and fine and al of a sudden my jints wil ache my hands turn numb and my lips will go blue. this is still unpleasant even if i dont feel cold. because i cant tell myself i use the thermometer on my phone but its inacurate on a windy day. so sometimes i have to ask people"hey is it cold" which whitout context is very strange. the context is to long go explain so is there a better way of finding out if im col

Is 'nerd damage' a typo, for 'nerve damage' ?

Have you ever discussed your hands going numb/lips turning blue with a doctor?

Can you just observe how warmly people are dressed instead of asking them? Take an average - there are always outliers. You might just work from a skin temperature reading, instead of trying to work out wind chill.

This is definitely a thing to see a doctor about. It could be hypoesthesia or it could be something else.

The thermometer is a good idea. The feeling of how cold it is varies from person to person, so that's not so reliable.
