Hi. I just found out about this site. I feel like nobody understands me, so thought maybe I could find some kind of solidarity here. I am a former self-injurer. I have anxiety, OCD, Add, depression, and histadelia; and I was - sort of? - just diagnosed with Asperger's, though I had expected it for quite some time. I've always had a lot of problems and have struggled a lot, but am the type of person to keep such things to myself. Most people just think I am weird and when I've tried to explain these things or expressed my concern about what I'm going through, people just seem to not take me seriously, or they discredit it and tell me that I'm fine. So that's my story. Peace.

Nice 2 meet U 2.

welcome Rainbowdragon- well done for getting here-I am new too-also have co-morbid diagnosis, as have many- i was diagnosed first off with borderline due to my life history but since re-diagnosed with Aspergers-not a manipulative bone in my body-due to the inability to understand what peoples reactions to my actions would be-thus not a great fictional writer when trying to build a set of complex characters- i too have extreme bouts of anxiety and OCD as well as cyclothymia, my fight or flight button seems to be permenantly switched on-but since my diagnosis of asperger have been doing much better as I know whats going on now. I hope you enjoy the forum and can be free to finally express your feelings without fear of judgement. take care. :balanced:

Hey rainbowdragon

Have a great time here. Aspies Central, as a community, is a virtual home for us. Maybe you, too, in time to come.
