New Year's Plans: Strive to be better?

I've been agoraphobic for just under two years now after getting out of an abusive relationship. This year I want to get back out into the world without needing my parents with me, maybe even do some traveling :)

I made one resolution years ago that I've stuck to ever since. I resolved not to make any more New Year resolutions.:D

Get out of "pre-diabetic" status.
Progress report: Since changing my diet (but not "going on a diet") about a month ago, I have lost ten pounds! And feel better too. I don't intend to stop with 10 pounds weight loss, but stay on this new eating plan. I'm reducing the amount of carbs (but not eliminating them entirely), eating smaller portions of red meat and more chicken and fish, and eating WAY more fresh fruits and vegetables.

Sometimes you gotta get the bleak medical news before you get serious!

That is very impressive. Once in awhile l have a cheat day but with no guilt attached. Keep up this great success.
