New to the community and I have a question.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this community but I was wondering if I would be allowed to ask for participants with autism for my third year dissertation. I have autism myself and this research is quite special to me but if I am not allowed, I am happy just to be part of the community. :)

Hi and welcome to the forum.

We have students asking us to fill out surveys quite often and they're welcome to - but there are a few rules around privacy. If your survey requires people to log in in order to participate then it's not anonymous and your link will likely get deleted. That includes Google logins.

It's also best if you provide plenty of information about your study - which school, the purpose of the study and what it aims to achieve, who will have access to the information we provide, etc.

And of course we're autistic and we see a lot of these surveys so be prepared for a little bit of constructive criticism about your questions. :)

Hello,

Thank you for the welcome and for the advice. My study is completely anonymous so no one will have to worry about that. I will create a post around the details soon so everyone can be prepared. I look forward to any feedback I may receive. :)
