Hi Thinx Well Known Member thank you for responding and offering suggestions for reading materials. Do you have any recommendations regarding the online tests?Hi and welcome. Perhaps you are wondering if neurodiversity applies to you? Hopefully joining in discussions here may help you with that. There are online tests you can do that give indications too. Many people find Tony Atwoods writing illuminating. For texts on autism, especially ASD1, look at Jessica Kingsley publishers catalogue, they have a variety and some by and/or about women with Autism. I hope you enjoy it here and find it useful and supportive.
I have used my anxiety to drive action, rather than suppressing the anxiety. Things were not always that way and the only way I would cope is to get away from the trigger. I was too passive. So I started to look at anxiety as coming from unmet needs and desires and it was up to me to do something about that.I have a few more questions for now - how do you calm yourself when you get really anxious? (Beyond smoking alot of weed) Is there anything else that helps?
Hi Gerald, that's very interesting - can you tell me more about that when you have time?I have used my anxiety to drive action, rather than suppressing the anxiety.
