Welcome, Clare!
There are a few posts about the general rules, if knowing how the forum works can help you feel more at ease, and the consensus is that we're a friendly crowd always happy to welcome a new member.
So tell us about yourself, the things you like, the things you want to find more information about, and I'm sure you'll be surprised how much you can get from the forum.

Welcome, i'm relatively new here too, it's been a good experience up till now, it's nice to to see topics pop up under the forums that i resonate with me, it's nice to have a place to talk about things that i can't really talk about anywhere else without feeling like i'm being a buzzkill or a burden

Hello. I'm new not just to this site but to forums generally. Not sure if I'm doing this right, but need someone to talk to.
Clare
