If you're in USA, find a local chapter of The Arc. Ask if they have an "Autism NOW Center." They help support adults as well as kids on the plectrum, and this means help with independent living, job skills training, social skills classes, support staff to help you in the community running errands or going to appointments, etc.

I actually already have found The Arc. I'm lucky enough that my local chapter is in my city, although it's across town. I'm having a time of it making contact, though.

Oops....I'm pretty new here myself, and I'm not sure about my page or who can access it....I do think I set a bunch of things to private, but then I didn't put any details on my profile page either. We should still be able to message though. Ha...so I guess I am still very concerned about privacy, due to how I feel weird/uncomfortable with having an internet presence.
