Hello. I'm a newly self-diagnosed aspergers person, male aged 61. I never had any clue about Autism or Aspergers before. One day this summer after having another predictably bad outing at a group picnic with people i didn't know, i googled "people who don't like to socialize" and that was my first introduction to Aspergers Syndrome. So i've been cruising the web for these past few months to get educated, and have read Tony Atwood's guide to AS. I had no idea there were other people like me. I guess i've got a relatively mild case, since i have had a fairly successful career as a small businessperson. Anyway, i feel a tremendous sense of relief that i have a clue at long last to what has been going on in my life all along. Hundreds of episodes over 60 years of time now make sense to me. So, hi!
