Thanks for having me, hopefully I'll be happy I found this place. Self diagnosed after a very bad round of antidepressants in my late 40's. It was so good to have a reason behind the weirdness. It allowed me to accept that I am who I am, and I'm never going to be everyone's cup of tea. That bursting into tears in large groups is caused by placing myself in a large group, so I keep the numbers low. Finding more ways to control this and extend my existence comfortably is what I'm looking for, here.

hi and welcome plant13,glad to see you have found a reason behind your differences, its the not knowing bit that makes life even more difficult [ive had bipolar since 10 years old but only got diagnosed a couple of months ago].

Hi and thank you. Bipolar diagnosis always makes me uncomfortable. It became a drop bucket for anything unexplainable. It also became a cuss word folks in former circles used in gossip when they thought nobody was listening. EG: That Bipolar so and so blah blah blah...My doctor dropped me in there and I spent 6 years recovering from it. I hope your meds are better than mine were. Thanks for the welcome and the support. I'm real new to this and I never know if I'm going to be misconstrued. My disclaimer.

Welcome Plant13. I just got here a few days ago and the people here are incredibly great and I can't believe how much I've learned in just a few short days!

Hello, Plant, and welcome!
You know that feeling when you just have to get away from people? I'm pretty sure you'll feel the exact opposite here, and you soon will want to read, read, read everything here.
