Welcome! While I don't fall in those demographics myself, there are many later-diagnosed or identified individuals here.

New. Any other newly diagnosed women over 40 out there?
Hi there aInd welcome.

I was diagnosed about a year ago.

Now that Covid restrictions are going down and I can try to see a professional face-to-face (other than the guy who first diagnosed me) I will see if it's worth getting an official diagnosis.

I've come a long way since, changing the way I see and react to myself. Having the diagnosis (I never suspected it could be Asperger's) also helped others understand "my ways" a little better.
But it's difficult to find information, professionals, therapies, whatever that are about autistic not-so-young adults. At least where I live the common belief is that autism is like the measels or something that kids get, then get treated and that's it.
