My son was just diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder- Asperger's syndrome. I am looking for a place to find information and receive support in parenting a child with this disorder. Thank you and look forward to chatting with you all!

Welcome. There is a whole parenting and support section here. There are a lot of parents that hang out here and get support. There is a lot of information out there on ASD's. I would recommend taking a look at our resource section too.

Hi Angelic and welcome,
As a parent, the most important thing is not to think of it as a disorder. They are all different and given opportunity, are the most amazing little people. The forums here have some great information to get you started.
Cheers

Welcome!!
Try not to worry about the diagnosis. Nothing has to change, really, on how you have to act towards your son or anything (which is good).:)

We just found out about our son too and I'm looking at getting myself assessed. Hopefully this place can offer us all the info and support we need and by the looks of it, it can
