Do you have any neologisms that you use frequently or discovered by mistake? :P

In some writing I did recently I came accross three. They SO should be words.

"Fluctuant", "preferral" and "independancy".

I haven't come across the word "neologism" before. Am I right in that it basically means a new word that you have made up yourself?

"Inconfidences" is another one, I think. Just used it in a thread in aspie general and thought 'waaaait a minute... *looks up*' Lol.

'Narc' for when I CBA to figure out the spelling of narcissist('tis a *****).

Aren't narcs a stereotype of 80's American college? Or was it 'nark' or something.

I'm what you end up with when one is educated by the simpsons.

I guess Homer Simpson's genius isn't recognized by dictionaries. :D

I think that this is the "narc" that Homer Simpson was referring to:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=narc

narc
1. n. Short for a Narcotics officer. A member of Law Enforcement that enforces drug laws.

2. n. A person who is not a member of Law Enforcement but turns you into the police for doing or dealing drugs.

3. n. A person that turns you in for something you did wrong; specifically to any type of authority figure like parents, cops, teachers, boss, etc.

4. v. The act of turning someone into law enforcement or authority figures.

Fair enough. :D It cracked me up the first time I heard him say it anyway. Not commonly used... in the UK at least lol.

Nyes = no that turns to yes. Good to use when you can't make up your mind.
Sprummer = between spring and summer, spring turning to summer.
