Need for social interaction or to break up the silence

Hi everybody,

I have recently attended an Assessment Centre to apply for a new job. Five hours under assessment conditions. Yes, as you can imagine, loads of fun.

I found that I become really uncomfortable when I was waiting between phases and was unable to interact with the other members of my syndicate. The silence was killing me. I spoke a couple to the other members breaking up the silence but was quite loud.

Has anyone else experienced this? Would this be linked to AS or Social Anxieties?

Thank you
