NASA has evidence of microbial life on Mars

If there is (or was) life on Mars, the probability that some form of life is all over the universe goes way, way up.

That would be awesomely awesome.

There is no conclusive evidence yet.

Scientists are excited over the possibility because formations look similar to those we see on Earth but we won't know for certain until after those samples have been collected and returned to Earth for proper testing. That is highly unlikely to happen any time before 2040.

At the moment the only information they have is visual - it looks like it could be.
