My parents think im faking my symptoms.

When I first read the term "hand-flapping," I thought it meant something like swinging your hands forward and back, kinda like you're trying to make yourself fly. Is that a form of it? Because I looked it up once and found a video showing that it's just opening and closing your hands. Is that all it is? I've always done that, but the term "hand-flapping" sounds more dramatic than that. Opening and closing seems perfectly normal. Is it not? :eek:
