My older Brother passed away recently

It was the 30th April 2018 that my Brother died in a gym exercise mishap. It's been a week since that all happened, I had still kept myself together.

He only just turned 40. I had been living in Australia while my Brother had been living in the USA on the Rust Belt.

I had been holding myself together, all it takes is coping mechanism like my younger Sister, the friends I have, and the rest of the family of course.

I had been watching a lot "Game Of Thrones", my Brother died when I was getting onto Episode 2, Season 5. I had been listening to a lot of uplifting music, to name a few other coping mechanisms I have.

It is very daunting that I am the oldest living person out of just my siblings and Cousins I have. To me, it's all about survival to keep my family bloodlines moving.

RIP to my Brother.

I cant imagine how you feel... I only know it must hurt deep.

I'm sorry your having to deal with this level of loss. Its good to hear that you are trying to stay positive... If it helps you to write it out to let it out, then do so... Thats my outlet mostly (other than just holding everything in, which is horrible in the long term).

I do hope you find closure and comfort soon.

Very sorry to hear you have lost your brother. That's so hard when he was so young. It's good that you are talking with family and friends and doing your best to cope, it must be a shock. I am sure there are many memories and stories you have about him that will be a comfort, and for me it works to think about the person and speak with them in my mind. They are still with us, in a way.

This is tough, not only losing your brother but also suddenly becoming the eldest in your family. Very sorry that you are going through this but know he will always be inside for you. Hope you will have the support of other loved ones while grieving your loss.
