Mostly reasonable media article about autism

That's quite nice. I can't really relate to having the same needs but I can appreciate it nonetheless. What ever helps you get by, why should I judge?

excellent article!
i recently became supported by different staff from next door and they have never worked with autism and ID before, they couldnt understand why a 32 year old carries sensory toys designed for babies with them, and i was bollocked for not having age appropriate material.
i think if it not breaking the law or harming anyone else, whats it got to do with them? i carry my toys to fill my sensory needs,my chewing needs, and my anxiety-it avoids me going to challenging behavior mode.

i used to carry my teddies around with me but they are so precious to me i worried very obsessively about losing them so i stopped carrying them,my support cat mr shadow now 'baby sits' them while im away. :D
