MLP theory : Applejack's parents are alive?!

It's not specifically stated if they died. The Perfect Pear isn't a exact knock off of Romeo and Juliet because they had kids. So here's my proposal. Apple Jack clearly exists so how could Pear Butter be alive and not me around her kids? What comes to mind is stories of parents being forced to separate from their kids. War specifically. But they could possibly have been forced to survive in a different environment then equestrian.

I love the idea of the duo being forced to work for a government, but are given accommodations by some "good samaritan." Yees! I like it. That way they could meet up with their kids in one piece! Anyways the problem with their grave being a beautiful tree is people who easily step over their corpses. It's not an appropriate place for burial.
