Metaphor and Analogy

I love metaphors and analogies. I love using them, and I love when other people use them. It is nice when people say "this is a metaphor/analogy" so that I realize it right away; even if they do not, I pick up on it generally speaking after some talk. If someone uses an analogy, I will speak IN that analogy, as if it were the actual thing we are talking about. Some people get confused by this ... "wait you know that's not the real thing right?" and ... well they started it LOL
.
Anyone else like this?

I use them all the time when training people or trying to explain a complex topic. If I know the person enough I can use something they personally can relate to. Sometimes my analogies are very obscure almost like a comedic response but nets the result of intention. Just not dad joke dry.
