Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. Respect to even those who don't. Well wishes to those who have a hard time, now, each year. Safe travels to whomever. I hope to continue hearing from you on the forum for many a day to come.

Christmas lights are pretty, and a lot of public places keep some all the time. Probably not as a Christmas look, rather just because they look nice. The Thai restaurant we had dinner at last night has beautiful oriental decor and strings of Christmas lights looped over doorways the year 'round. Maybe it is more common in Florida as a festive thing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Merry Xmas and everything! For both those who enjoy and whose don't enjoy it.

I have suggested to my mother that because setting up the (plastic) Christmas tree is so much of the work, why we don't just keep it whole year. She pointed out that there is not much room in our apartment. Okay, why we just don't store it to the balcony for summers and move back inside for next Xmas? She had a good point, that birds will do a nest to it and soil it with their feces... So one more stressful sprint to dismantle the tree, and then I can have again a steady and comfortable string of similar days without much of fuss.
