Math and aspies

I want to be a teacher but for that to occur I need to pass a Praxis math test even though it's not what I want to teach. I have aspergers and I am in college.
Can I get an exemption. I never understood math. I can't enter the teaches ed program in my college because of this. I feel it's discrimination to do that. I just can't get math to stick in my mind. It has been like that all my life. My Sat was horrible in math. I got accepted to college because I did very well on the other parts of SAT. It's a state requirement to pass Praxis math.
Its my aspergers I believe.
I just cant grasp it. Does this mean im barred from the teaching profession because of Autism? Is that against the Disabilities Act?

Math is foreign to me. Abstractness I can't grasp

I have the same problem. I am better at maths, way better than when I was younger but I could not get a GCSE in it which is the minimum required here to get onto almost any course, and get almost any job.
