Hi! I used to be on the WrongPlanet forum as Tantopat, but after discovering that the site has essentially been bought out by Autism Speaks, I had to leave and find an alternative community. This place seemed like the perfect place for me! :)

As for an introduction, I'm 27, and I'm a freelance artist and aspiring storyboarder/comic book inker from the UK. I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at age 10, and I'm also looking into getting an official diagnosis for my dyspraxia, which they seem to have missed the first time around but definitely seems to be there. Aside from art, I'm an avid gamer (I spent two years studying games development in college) and cosplayer, and I'm generally a geek (I read quite a few comics, although I tend to stay away from most Marvel stuff except for Deadpool). I'm also a big fan of The Authority, Steam Powered Giraffe and Terrahawks, along with far too many other things, and I'm a bit of a closing logo nerd. :) Anyway, hi, and I look forward to chatting with you all!

I had to check out what Steam Power Giraffe was as I never heard of them, they are pretty good and the video I saw was too , I checked out the song Honeybee.
I did know what Terrahawks was though, (if you are talking about the same Terrahawks I am thinking of)
, I was only talking about Zelda the other day after comparing her to an ex girlfriend.... She didn't look like Zelda before I paid £2000 for laser eye surgery though... just my luck...

Oh, no, I'd love to be, but I'm not yet. Hence "aspiring". :p At the moment I'm just a general freelance artist, and I mostly work on commissions and original works that I sell at events. I'm training myself up, though, so once I've reached the right skill level, I'm going to start sending out portfolios and approaching comic publishing companies and studios in the hopes of getting somewhere!

Easter, that's exactly the Terrahawks I'm talking about. :) It's good to know someone else here enjoys it! (I'm actually on a bit of a web-wide mission to find other fans. I just know there must be a small pocket of fandom out there somewhere...)
