List just one thing you did today

Timed it just right to leave my apartment and shop while the leaf blower guys did their noisy, but necessary thang.

I put up my Christmas lights and plugged in a timer, so I can look normal while doing nothing else about the season. Extra points for not freezing my fanny nor my fingers through careful timing.

I contacted a realtor today, which l am already ready to ditch. Then l realized l bought all our homes using the seller realtor signing a disclaimer agreement in MN. Realtors in Florida aren't my fav group to deal with either.

I'm down with the flu but I managed to make it to the doctor's office and back home again for an updated prescription. I also made it to Walmart to get more flu meds as I took the last dose this morning. Even picked up some wrapping paper and a pack of chicken soup. Didn't get the package I bought the paper for wrapped or make the soup because that was it for my energy, but I still got out of the house. I'll take that win.

It's been a busy day. My Mama and I had just got started with the morning coffee time, when Daddy came back saying that someone had told him that our horses were out. We had to gulp down the cup, skip the second cup and rush to get dressed and throw some hay in the truck to lure the horses back with if needed. When we got there, the horses came readily. The fence was down in many areas. We finally got it fixed and then had to fill the trough. If you'll recall, the hose doesn't reach and we have to haul a big bucket on a cart back and forth to fill it. We were then able to go back home and feed the huskies some tuna. We still haven't eaten anything ourselves as of the time I am typing this. After the huskies ate (it doesn't take them long) we left to bring the horses their grain and I rechecked the wire. We are finally heading back home to hopefully get some coffee and perhaps something to eat. It's after 2 o'clock in the afternoon. During the trip back to the horses, I got Mama to laugh by saying something like " I feel hungry for some reason" as though it was puzzling why I would be hungry. 😅 Mama just reminded me that we haven't got to start the washing yet either. We do laundry washing every day and I usually get it started before the horses.

I hate it when mornings start like that! Why are your fences down so often? Trees and limbs sometimes fall on our fences where the donkeys live so we patrol the perimeter after big storms.

Things are kind of suspicious. We've found clips moved to a different position on the pole, there will be several sections down at once, we put a camera and it was damaged before.🤷🏼‍♀️

We have the times where a limb will fall or a deer will go through as well from time to time, but most of the more consistent damages seem suspicious.

Still sick as a dog, but made it out to get the battery changed in my phone as it was dying. Still happy with the phone and don't feel like paying $2K plus for a new one. Also took my ratty La-Z-Boy recliner to the dump. Managed to pick it up and toss it into a chest high waste bin unaided. Apparently a year's worth of calisthenics are paying off. I'm 57 and I've never been this physically fit or capable before in my entire life. I just ticked off another thing on the list of things doctors told me I wouldn't be doing with all of the ailments I have. Never take someone else's word for what your limits are. Find out for yourself.

Learned new word today:
Solastalgia-
Solastalgia (/ˌsɒləˈstældʒə/) is a form of emotional or existential distress caused by negatively perceived environmental change. A distinction can be made between solastalgia as the lived experience of negatively perceived change in the present, and eco-anxiety linked to worry or concern about what may happen in the future (associated with "pre-traumatic stress".
This year, there were no hurricanes yet l still worried and hired someone to strengthen our carport.

I appreciate people who teach me new things. I thank you for this.
