I've done that. What heaters don't need electricity?I rigged an extension cord running from the garage to the greenhouse so I can plug in a heat lamp to keep the greenhouse warm on these cold nights. It looks really cool at night when it's lit up from inside. I'm looking for some kind of heater that doesn't require electricity because I don't like having an extension cord running across the yard. Maybe Santa will bring me one. He knows I want one.![]()

Smudge pots, for example. I tried those one year, it cost about $90 for 2 nights for the fuel.There are some small heaters that run on fuel rather than electricity. Maybe propane gas. Hubby is investigating for me. He wants something like that for his hunting/shooting tent thingy he sets up in a pasture during deer season. I think he just takes naps in there when he's supposed to be hunting.
